The chocolate container is a vertical cylindrical stainless steel container used in the food industry for the purpose of melting or tempering chocolate. The container is heated evenly, which keeps the chocolate in a liquid, homogeneous mixture and allows it to be easily transported to the next facility on the assembly line.
Chocolate containers are used in the food industry in the production of chocolate (bars, candies), sweet chocolate products (wafers, biscuits, dry pastry) and nuts or dried fruits wrapped in chocolate.
The chocolate melter is an indispensable piece of equipment on the assembly line of any company in the sugar industry. Its main function is to melt and temper the chocolate in order to liquefy it.
It is a vertical cylindrical vessel, usually with a conical bottom. The chocolate container is heated evenly by means of a spiral-wound water jacket along its shell and bottom, and the insulating stone wool ensures that heat loss is reduced. The homogeneous mixture in the container is maintained by a slow-running frame stirrer, which can be fitted with a static or removable Teflon scraper to ensure that no dried chocolate remains inside the container.
