Stableengineering-Alpha designs and manufactures stainless steel buffer vessels for the storage of pre-prepared semi-finished or finished products. This type of vessels are usually of vertical cylindrical construction. Depending on their intended use, they can be small (from 200L) or much larger. They are used in the food, cosmetic, chemical and other industries.
Buffer vessels are most often vertical cylindrical vessels made of stainless steel. They are widely used in the food, cosmetic and other industries for short-term storage (buffering) of semi-finished or finished products. They are usually placed on the assembly line immediately before the filling machines.
This type of tanks find wide application for maintaining the temperature of pre-tempered product. They are therefore most often equipped with stone wool insulation on the shell and bottom of the vessel. An option is to place a water jacket with a coil under the insulation, into which a hot or cold carrier is fed. According to the customer’s requirements and the specific purpose of the buffer vessel, it can be equipped with a stirrer – frame, spiral-belt, propeller, paddle or other – which can be with or without scrapers.
