The steaming vat is a facility used in dairies when producing small batches of cheese. It is designed for the preparation and heating of the dissolved salt in which the cheddarised curd for the cheese is evaporated. Stabilengineering-Alpha manufactures such vats in stainless steel and to customer specifications.
The vat for evaporating chederised curd is part of the technological equipment of small dairies that process up to 1000L of milk per day. This equipment is used for the preparation and heating of the salt solution in which the cheddarised curd is evaporated during the production of the cheese.
The steaming vat is a vertical cylindrical vessel with an opening lid. Due to its specific application, the vat is most often manufactured in volumes of 75L. In order to optimally heat the product, it is equipped with a coil type jacket welded along the ягевв and the bottom of the unit. Steam or hot water with a temperature of 110°C (max. operating temperature of the heat carrier up to 135°C) is supplied through the jacket. For better heat transfer, the vat is insulated with stone wool and sheathing.
