Sifters and centrifuges are used in small and large-scale production in various industries. The sieves are usually screw sieves, their purpose is to sieve powdered products at the beginning of the assembly line. Centrifuges, on the other hand, dry pre-washed and shredded non-food products.
Screw sieves are used in the food industry and in particular in the bakery industry to sieve flour before milling. From the grain elevators, the flour is fed directly into the sieve and an screw shaft whirls it through a sieving drum with two outlets – for the sieved flour and for the separated contaminants. The size and density of the sieve can be varied. The facility is hygienically designed and guaranteed free of product stagnation zones.
The centrifuges that Stabilengineering-Alpha manufactures are industrial flow centrifuges. Their purpose is to dry pre-washed and ground material that is continuously transported to the centrifuge, for example shredded recyclable plastic. The machine has a basket into which the product is placed, from there a drum swirls it at very high speed, separates the water and moves the dried material to the outlet of the unit.
