Salt dissolvers are stainless steel vessels in which a salt solution is prepared. The equipment can be upgraded with options to heat the product for pasteurization. These salt dissolvers are used in medium and large dairies in the production of dairy products, as well as in the canning industry for products in brines.
The salt dissolver is a vertical cylindrical vessel with a conical or flat sloping bottom. It is used in the production of brine (aqueous solution with salt). That is why you will find it as part of the industrial equipment of every medium and large dairy, as well as in the canning industry in the production of pickles, sauerkraut, etc.
A basket is installed inside the vessel into which crystal salt is poured. It is completely dissolved by recirculation of the water and constant pouring of the salt by means of a shower device mounted on the upper bottom. A propeller agitator can be fitted to the salt dissolver.
Stabilengineering-Alpha manufactures standard salt dissolvers and those with pasteurization capability. Heating of the product occurs by a water jacket along the shell and/or bottom of the vessel or by building a complete system with a heat exchanger.
