The honey melting tanks are prismatic vertical vessels equipped with a heated grid on which tins or barrels of honey can be placed. Thanks to the heating, high-quality decrystallization of the honey is achieved, preserving its biological qualities and beneficial properties.
The decrystallization tanks are part of the industrial equipment in honey processing plants. These facilities ensure the efficient melting of crystallized honey, making it easier to transport to the homogenizer tank afterward.
The honey melting tanks are prismatic vertical vessels with heated grids or racks on which tins or barrels of honey are placed: typically 4 rows with 8 tins per row or 4 barrels per load. The grids slowly heat the honey for 12 to 24 hours, after which it flows down, passes through a mechanical sieve to remove large debris, and is collected in the tank. To prevent the honey from recrystallizing, the tank is equipped with a heated bottom, and its evacuation is facilitated by a double-sloped bottom.
The honey decrystallizers for tins can be either single or double-decked to optimize space in the thermostat chamber where they are located.
