Cooling tables are used to lower the temperature of a product that is spread on them. They are widely used in the food industry and in particular in the sugar industry for cooling caramel candy dough. Cooling tables are manufactured in different sizes according to the needs of the production plant.

The cooling tables are robust and easy to clean units with a coil type water jacket mounted on the underside of the worktop. It is fed with technical ice water that has been pre-cooled, for example by an ice generator or chiller. It maintains the desired lower temperature on the worktop and cools the product. The safety board on all four sides of the table serves as a spatter prevention as well as to align the thickness of the working dough.
