Product tempering chambers (thermostatic chambers) are small rooms with thermal insulation and air preheating systems. Inside, large cuts of products that are solid at room temperature are placed on euro pallets: honey, oils, some fats, etc.
The tempering chambers are thermally insulated very small rooms with external heating and a fan to intensify the heat exchange. A temperature controller senses and holds the preset temperature in the chamber and control is via an electrical panel.
Thermostatic chambers are used in the food and cosmetics industry to heat and liquefy products that are solid at room temperature. Typically, tins or drums of honey, oils, fats or bases for cosmetic products are placed in the chambers. The melting of the product is obtained by heating the air to 75°C, and the temperature of the product itself is monitored.
Most often, thermostatic chambers are built from thermal panels with a polymer coating and a supporting structure made of carbon or stainless steel.
