Industrial filters are widely used in production plants of various industries. They are most often installed at the beginning of the production line in order to separate different types of contaminants in food and non-food fluids with different viscosities: fresh milk, honey, paint, etc.
At the beginning of the production line in many plants it is necessary to place a filter in order to purify the working fluid – industrial block filters. The practice is to install two identical filters side by side so that when one becomes clogged and needs cleaning, the flow is redirected to the other filter so as not to interrupt the production process.
A pressure gauge shall be installed to the filters to monitor the pressure within the housing of the facility. If the pressure is elevated above normal, it is signaled that the filter needs cleaning. This is done manually and the cartridge filter is easily and quickly removed.
Such filters are mandatory in dairies for straining fresh milk before pasteurisation, in the production of honey before it is transported to the homogeniser and in other production plants of various industries.
